Guatemala

Central America’s most diverse country captivates travelers with its extraordinary landscapes and a civilization-spanning culture that reaches back centuries.

Often described as the most beautiful lake in the world, Lake Atitlán a place that is on most

‘Places to see before you die’ lists for a reason!

Picture a huge cobalt lake surrounded by volcanoes and dotted with traditional villages and small towns, with winding cobbled roads, open markets, smoking volcanoes, delicious food, and world-famous coffee fresh from the slopes where it’s grown and roasted. It’s also been revered as a major spiritual vortex, and centre for healing.

“Take people to a paradise where they’ll never look back

A place where only the adventurous and courageous would unpack

I’d heard of a mysterious nest – by a magical, mystical lake

Up in the Guatemalan mountains – where ancient volcanoes awake

A place where grown ups remember how to play.”
